Bride and her 7 bridesmaids are killed in a private plane crash as they returned from a bachelorette trip

A 28-year-old bride and her entire hen party were killed after her private plane crashed as they returned to Istanbul after a bachelorette party in Dubai. Turkish bride-to-be Mina Basaran was celebrating hens party ahead of her marriage to Murat Gezer when her plane burst into flames and crashed in the south of Iran on Sunday March 11th.
All 11 passengers and crew members on board the flight from Sharjah to Istanbul were killed, authorities confirmed on Monday.
A spokesman for Iran's emergency management organisation, Mojtaba Khaledi, said local villagers discovered the wreckage. He added that they would require DNA tests to formally identify those on board.
"[They] found only badly burned bodies and no survivors," he said.
Just one day before her tragic death, Miss Basaran posted photos from her bachelorette celebrations taking place in the United Arab Emirates. One of the photos was of her in a white dressing gown while her 7 bridesmaids were in pink.

Two days earlier, Miss Basaran shared a photo of herself in front of the private plane, which is believed to be owned by her wealthy father, Huseyin Basaran. In the photo, she was holding a bouquet of flowers and had on a denim jacket embroidered with the words "Mrs Bride" and "better together".
Miss Basaran, a businesswoman, was in line to take over her father's business, Basaran Investment Holding.  She was due to marry her fiance Murat Gezer on April 14.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. It's been confirmed that the plane had eight passengers (Ms Basaran and her 7 friends) and three crew members on board. The plane had two female pilots and a female crew member, meaning all those on board were women.
