Chanelle Hayes admits she hates the thought of her mum’s murderer being free

Chanelle Hayes has revealed she hates the thought of her mum’s murderer walking the streets as a free man. The former Big Brother star was adopted but discovered in her teens that her biological mum Andrea Sinclair had become addicted to drugs and turned to prostitution. In 1998, when Chanelle was only a few months old, she was strangled to death by Keith Pollard, who had picked her up as a client in 1988.
Her body was so mutilated she was only identified by a birthmark on her leg. Speaking in an interview with new! magazine, Chanelle says: “Her murderer Keith Pollard is up for parole around about now. I feel anxious about it.”
Asked if she fears he could ever come after her, she says: “No, I don’t think that. He’ll be an old man now. But he’s not safe to be out on the streets and I hate the thought of him being free.”
Chanelle recently sparked speculation that she was back with ex boyfriend Ryan Oates - who is the father of her six month old son Frankie - after they were spotted enjoying a family day out together.
But Chanelle - who is also a mum to Blakely, seven, insist that's not the case.

She told new!: "There are two children involved and we're adults, do you just have to get on with it. We're really not back together. We're co-parenting.
"And it's hard, but you shove a box set on and just watch it. I guess it does sound a bit strange when you say it out loud.
"You have to move on. I have a child who hasn't seen his dad because his dad couldn't bar to be civil to me and I couldn't bear that to happen again."
