Paedophile Mark Salling's ex sues late Glee star's estate for $2.7m over forced sex case
The ex-girlfriend of disgraced Glee actor Mark Salling is suing the late star's estate for millions over a settlement that she was never paid. Roxanne Gorzela has filed a claim against Salling's estate to request that she be made a creditor so she can receive the $2.7million she is owed. Previously, the exes had reached a settlement after she accused him of forcing her to have unprotected sex in March 2011.
In January 2013 she sued him for sexual battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence, People magazine reports, having seen legal documents filed by Roxanne.
Mirror Online has contacted a rep for Salling but received no response.
Salling, 35, was found dead on January 30 2018, weeks after pleading guilty to possessing some 50,000 images of child sexual abuse.
The children in the pictures were aged between three and five years of age.
He was found next to a riverbed near his home in Sunland-Tujunga, Los Angeles. Initial investigations found he had hanged himself.
Salling was due to be sentenced this month, having accepted a plea deal in December to get a reduced jail term of between four and seven years.
He would have also agreed to pay restitution to any victim who came forward, to the tune of $50,000 as part of the deal, but as he was never sentenced, the restitution aspect of his deal lapsed.
This means the children in the images were cheated out of compensation.
The actor, who played Noah 'Puck' Puckerman on the hit Fox show, would have been required to register as a sex offender and not been allowed to live within view of any school yards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds, video arcades, or any other places that are regularly visited by people under the age of 18.
Police were reportedly tipped off about the images on his computer by one of his ex-girlfriends.
