Practical Magic reunion at Oscars with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman delights film fans

Practical Magic film fans were thrilled to see Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reunited at Sunday's Oscars. The duo starred in the 1998 supernatural film together as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who were taught by their aunt to use practical magic after the death of their parents.
Twenty years later, the pair bumped into each other on the red carpet when Nicole crashed Sandra's interview with a reporter, telling her to "topple over".
Sandra joked: "She did it again! Nicole Kidman always butts into my stuff."

Nicole said that she still "loves" Practical Magic, and that she "showed that movie to my kids".
She added: "We're really good sisters."

Sandra quickly quipped: "And really good drinkers."

Fans watching the red carpet stream at home were delighted at the impromptu chat between the former co-stars.

One wrote on Twitter that they "almost burst into tears" at the Practical Magic reunion, while another wrote in frenzied caps: "I WAS NOT READY FOR A PRACTICAL MAGIC REUNION."
One said they were in a "great mood" to watch the ceremony after seeing the Hollywood duo's fun exchange.

They wrote: "I don't watch the Red Carpet but I tuned in just in time to witness Nicole Kidman sneak up on Sandra Bullock and they ignored the interviewer and just began chatting about how much they like Practical Magic (one of my all time faves) so now I'm in a great mood to watch the Oscars."

"Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock talking about how much they love Practical Magic and show it to their kids just made my year/decade/life," another viewer declared.

One fan described the moment as a "Practical Magic sequel".
