British student left with broken nose and covered in blood after breaking up with 19-year-old model girlfriend

A British student in America had his nose broken in an alleged assault by his model girlfriend after he tried to break up with her.

Ben Kebbell, 19, has been going out with Katie Mahoney, who has almost 150,000 followers on Instagram, but told her in his Connecticut dorm room last week that he wanted to call things off.


But the break up turned sour when Mahoney, also 19, allegedly punched him in the face and the stomach, breaking his nose and leaving her ex covered in blood
Kebbell seemed to see the funny side though, posting a picture of his swollen nose and bloodied face on Snapchat with the caption: "The Katie thing comes with a broken nose lol".

Local media reported that despite his jokes online, Kebbell's injuries were serious enough that he took himself to a nearby hospital for treatment.
